Nothing says Seattle quite like the Space Needle and Pike Place market. And while I love those landmark locations, our Instagram feeds could use a break from the overdone touristy photos. After living in Seattle for almost three years, I’ve discovered some pretty amazing Instagram worthy locations that will make any person double tap your photo. So today, I’m revealing some of the most Instagrammable places in Seattle that fashion bloggers, photographers, and creatives flock to.
1. Frankie + Jo’s Plant Based Ice Cream
Capitol Hill Location
Frankie & Jo’s is home to some seriously amazing plant based ice cream. But it’s the swoon worthy palm wallpaper that takes this little ice cream shop from a tasty treat to a photo worthy destination.
Address: 1010 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98122
Notes: If you plan on taking photos (duh), go when it’s not too busy.
Ballard Location
Address: 1411 NW 70th St, Seattle, WA 98117
Notes: Snap photos in the back of the shop where there is an outdoor seating section complete with cactus plants and coral chairs.
2. Capitol Hill Streets
Capitol Hill is one of my favorite places to take pictures because there is always a unique wall just around the corner.
Corner of Neumos
Address: 925 E Pike St, Seattle, WA 98122
Black and White Striped Wall
Address: 1001 9th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104
Rainbow Sidewalks
Address: 922 E Pike St, Seattle, WA 98122
Note: Take some time to drive around Capitol Hill and scout out locations that would make a good picture.
3. King Street Station
King Street Station in the International District is so gorgeous. Enjoy the ornate ceilings, gold accents, and old school clocks. See a full look here.
Address: 303 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104
Notes: Avoid taking photos during high traffic times and be prepared for possible dim lighting.
4. Smith Tower
Smith Tower boasts marble staircases, gold vintage elevators, and a type of old Hollywood glamour that makes for the perfect Instagram pic. Take an elevator ride to the Observation Deck and get amazing Seattle #views.
Address: 506 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98104
Note: It costs about $15 to go to the top of Smith Tower. Also, you must get approval before doing a full on photo shoot inside the building.
5. Seattle Ferris Wheel
This is probably as close to “touristy” as I’ll get. But honestly, the Seattle Ferris Wheel is one of my favorite Instagrammable places in Seattle. It’s a fun, playful shot that is sure to get lots of likes.
Address: 1301 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101
Note: To get the best photo, visit the wheel on a weekday when crowds have died down.
6. Mr. West Café
You know I had to put Mr. West in here! The white leather seating, succulents, wrap around bar, waffles, and bar carts of rosé are sure to make any photo Insta-worthy.
Address: 720 Olive Way, Seattle, WA 98101
Note: Avoid taking photos after 5pm on weekdays.
7. Bar Melusine
Bar Melusine instantly makes for a perfect Instagram post. Seriously, I couldn’t get a bad photo in this place. The natural light and pops of turquoise and green make for a perfect #selfie or #shoefie.
Address: 1060 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98109
Note: Wear cute shoes because you’ll want to take a photo with the floor.
8. General Porpoise Doughnuts
Capitol Hill Location
Hot pink accents, coffee, and marble makes General Porpoise another top Instagrammable place in Seattle. You will get a flawless Instapic and a delicious doughnut.
Address: 98109, 1020 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98122
Note: General Porpoise is fairly small so if you want room to take a pic, go during slower hours.
Pioneer Square Location
Address: 401 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104
Note: This location is much larger making it easy to get a cute photo!
9. Outside The Arctic Club Hotel
The Arctic Club has been popping up on everyone’s Instagram feeds lately as it is the perfect chic, marbled spot of stylized photos.
Address: 700 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98104
Note: There are always staff outside the hotel so you will be taking photos in front of them and guests entering and exiting the building.
10. Dr. Jose P. Rizal Bridge
The Dr. Jose P. Rizal Bridge is a fantastic location if you want that Seattle skyline shot without looking like a total tourist.
Address: 1007 12th Ave S Seattle, WA 98144
Note: Try and take your photo early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid harsh direct sunlight and shadows.
11. Pink Wall at Pike Place
I love this pale pink wall! It’s on the side of Sur La Table in Pike Place Market and makes for a great complement to any outfit with a little pink. You can see it in full here.
Address: 1606 Pike Pl, Seattle, WA 98101 / On Stewart St.
Note: You have to shoot fast here! There are always people around Pike Place regardless of the time of day so Insta it quick.
12. The London Plane
The London Plane is an adorable restaurant and wine bar complete with a marble bar, fresh flowers, pastries, and plenty of space for photos.
Address: 300 Occidental Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104
Note: Like other popular restaurants, avoid high traffic times like brunch if you want to get photos without people or want space to be more creative with your photos.
13. That Perfect White Wall
If you follow any Seattle fashion bloggers, you’ve seen this wall. And that may be because it’s the most perfectly white wall that complements any outfit. It’s right outside of Frankie & Jo’s so you can get two photos for one trip.
Address: 1060 East Union St. Seattle, WA 98122 – Right outside of Frankie + Jo’s
Note: Avoid high traffic times like Saturday brunch or Happy Hour.

Great list! I still haven’t been to Frankie and jos – the timing is never right! I also love the sculpture park and Georgetown lately. Xo
Thanks Kirsty! I need to go visit Georgetown more :)
Love all these! Also cool places to take friends when they are in town, because I get so used to going to the same
places to eat!
I’m partial to West Seattle, because A) I live there 😜 But the view of the skyline is AMAZING! Super fun to take the water taxi over! There’s also an amazing ivy wall/pathway under the West Seattle bridge! In the fall it’s UNREAL!
Thanks again for the list!

Hey Lauren,
I’m definitely going to have to check out that spot in West Seattle. And you’re totally right, the skyline from West Seattle is gorgeous.
Thanks for the suggestion :)
