One Piece, Two Piece, White Piece, Blue Piece

As a 23 soon to be 24 year old, sometimes I feel like I’m living a double life. I mean where do you think “Hot Dress Hot Mess” came from? At work,  I’m surrounded by established adults talking about their latest investments and second homes as I nod  along secretly hoping I get to take home the left over food from our lunch. At home, I bargain between a $8 or $10 bottle of wine while scrolling through pictures of my friend’s new babies juxtaposed by Thirsty Thursday selfies.

Let’s just say, there’s plenty of room to have an identity crisis. For all you who feel like your life is a little disjointed, I have a short term solution for you: buy a matching coordinated outfit.

Matching two piece outfits, often referred to as co-ordinates or twin sets, have risen in popularity in the last few years. And it’s understandable why! The coordinating pieces guarantee a put together, stylish, and perfectly matched outfit. So while you’re slaying at work by day and eating Oreo’s for dinner by night, your outfit will always be on point.

I love matching sets because they require so little planning – all you have to think about are shoes and some accessories. That’s always a necessity when I’m running out the door after texting back that I left the house 10 minutes ago…you know you do it too.

At this age, it’s safe to say our lives can be confusing to piece together. We go from conference calls to clearance sales, from bridal showers to bar crawls, and from networking to Netflix binging.
